pokerstars client issue

there are files that pokerstars updater somehow fucked up, usually its windows installler (or similiar name) that owns the files and manages right to system, users, admin, and itself to access files... somehow the ownership goes wrong sometimes, there are few files that are not removable editable or updatable... untill you remove client, and check base installation folder and also appdata folder what files are left after uninstallation, check their properties, they have no OWNER, so nothing can do anything to them, they are "PROTECTED". you have to manually take ownership of files and grant access (read write edit remove... just tick all access box) and then remove them manually, then just reinstall when there no files that cant update...

had the same problem with casino games, firts NETENT games didnt open, and i played them from cellphone only, then its spread after update to all casino games. then in investigated and contacted support, they said they forward the issue to real tech support people, they responded 2 months later with just reinstall :D this however wont help, cause the files are allready there and they didint get removed when uninstalled, and they cant be overwritten when reinstalled so the problem stays.

you can test opening donuts (your problem game) hit the windown 100x times to open, at some point it will say too many windows/games open despite none is open.

i wasent able to get super deep into technical but ill post the problematic picks of error logs i created and other logs i monitored when trying to open non working games.

these errors pop up on the second u try to open... entries are from 2 logs with matching times of entry.

i actually spent alot of time on this, first time when it was netent only i reinstalled and cleaned 3x but let it go cause i could play on cellphone... when all providers and live hosts stopped working (whole casino section), i spent 10hrs to find what the problems was, i manually went thru even whole registry removing everything related to stars company and pokerstars and relative whatever client that runs the externally linked slots games. its not registry issue.

i fixed it but i didnt report to back about the reason to pokerstars support, i was so angry of the level of support i got, i was sure it would happen again, and since they didnt take me seriously, find the fix for themselfs... its funny that the real people who are able to go thru everything on computer and logs and files, are treated like 80 year old granny using a computer for the 1st time

my 1st system was some sharp one, cant remember exactly (prior the days of commodore amigas and ataris) so i have a little knowledge aquired over the almost 30 years then you get treaded like a moron by someone who doesnt know shit and is like propably 25 years old
