It seems BTG has ripped off one too many players with their Feature Buy Slots. UKGC has already notified them and many other feature buy providers. You can expect this to be wide spread in a year or so. So buy those features while you still can. Honestly i am not surprised one bit, I cant even count how many times i bought a $500 feature only for it to return $5. UKGC is finally stepping in and gambling commissions all around the world will soon follow suit. All your favorite providers will be impacted by this, Push gaming BTG Blueprint Microgaming Relax Gaming Pragmatic Play and so much more. basically any provider who has a buy feature option It has directly been confirmed to link to problem gambling. Players buy the feature and win a return of 1% their buy in, then they buy another only to win another 1% return of their buy in and so on until there bust/rip. The win ratio is so unrealistically low players would have to buy 50 features for anything to happen, sure you can get lucky and win right away or maybe a few back to back wins but the fact is its very very unlikely. This could have been avoided if providers guaranteed a set return percentage of the buy in for example guaranteed a 25% return of the buy in, this way the providers still made profit and the players didn't lose as much. Sadly the providers got greedy and set no such guarantees, in fact they did the exact opposite making it so you can literally win $0 off a $1000 feature buy for example. In some cases players buy the feature and don't even get to see the feature because they hit the gamble option for more spins or better multipliers and in return all their buy in funds go directly to the providers/casinos holding account. Greedy providers is the only way to describe this situation and the UKGC has caught on and are taking action. Buy em while you still can folks.
