In case you haven't seen the e-mail, the official response from Streamelements is the following;


Hello,

We are writing to inform you about a recent issue we had with our loyalty system and the steps we are taking to remedy the situation. 

On Monday, one of our loyalty databases maintained by a 3rd party vendor was accidentally deleted from their server along with the related backups. The database held all of our recent customer loyalty program data. As a result, systems which rely on this program--such as giveaways, contests, stream store, watchtime, and media request with loyalty points--were disabled. 

Because we were able to identify the issue, we have re-enabled the loyalty program today. Since the vendor informed us that they are unable to restore the lost data, we are using our own offsite backups from November of 2019 to reflect data captured up until that month. We realize this is not ideal, but it is the only option we currently have. If you prefer to opt-out of using the older data we restored, simply use the reset button on your leaderboard. 

We apologize for the impact this has on your channel and community and will be putting in additional safeguards to ensure this doesn’t happen again. If you have any additional questions please come by our Discord.

Unfortunately things like these are entirely out of our control, as we, and all other streamers using this loyalty feature are facing the same issues, and end up with the same disappointed viewers that lost a big chunk of their points and watchtime. There is absolutely nothing we can do about this, but we shall see if there is anything we can do to increase your points again with some big point giveaways, or simply increasing the gained points for a few months. On behalf of ourselves and Streamelements we apologise for the inconvenience..

 

UPDATE: 

So one minor update.

As most are now well aware the points were reset to the state they were at november 2019. Additionally people that redeemed items between nov-feb got their points back, meaning some that were saving lost half, where people that redeemed got their points back. To say it lightly this is a 'really big fucking mess'.
I spoke to streamelements and they are working 24/7 at the moment to see what they can do to reduce the damage done. Until I have more updates from streamelements I'm not going to manually refund/deduct any points where need be. I apologise for switching off whispers on twitch, but I would like to have to mention this only once :)

So time for another update!

When it comes to the points; nothing new yet. I just want to make extra note on the face we are NOT going to deduct or credit any points until I know what Streamelements is going to do from their end. Say we would deduct or credit points, and they add/deduct things as well then there is absolutely no saving it anymore :)  So it's best to wait a bit.

Now about the Pragmatic store items from Streamelements store.

I am very well aware that many people still haven't received their items, haven't received a reply, or maybe haven't been contacted yet by pragmatic. Premium items have not been received yet, and payment for them has also not been done - I am aware of all of this, and I understand the frustration. Free or not, you should be getting your stuff!

Now for the important part; looking at the current situation with the pragmatic store (at the moment just repeating the poor setup from last year, falling into the same delays) we've decided to cease cooperation with them. Of course we do appreciate all the time Pragmatic has put in this, and the fact they were willing to sponsor the items in the first place. However, at the moment the cooperation brings too much stress and frustration to both parties, and the community. 
Fort he people that have ordered whatever item from pragmatic and haven't received their items or cash - DO NOT WORRY. All redemptions made until today will be sorted properly, latest end of march. 

Of course we will do our best to set up a new store asap - and a cash stor for those who are willing!

Just for info; I have disabled the Streamelements bot and the Loyalty system in general until a fix is in place for all issues that have stacked up now. Stay tuned!

Alright, so a new big update in regards to Streamelements and the Store!

Missing points due to the Streamelements issue

So! After quite a few meetings with Streamelements eventually I got note that the missed points between november 2019 and march 2020 can NOT return (at least not automatically), as the latest back up is and will always be from November 2019. So here is how we fixed this;
- All premium item redemptions were manually deducted from your points balance. (Yes, only premiums, lucky you)
- Everyone got 30% added to their current point balance, as this was (including competitions and giveaways) around the average points that people lost with the rollback. The more points you had, the more you got added. I know it will not exactly give you the points back that you missed. Some may get a bit more, some a bit less, but it is the best solution we can come up with for the moment. Also we will be introducing weeks where you will be getting double, or even triple points.

About the actual store

As many of you probably know we have stopped working with Pragmatic play, as well as Leovegas when it comes to store items. This means I am currently busy setting up a new point store (with new items), as well as a cash store - where you can buy your favourite merchandise for cash. Additionally you can get discounts up to 100% with your points in the cash store. Please stay tuned :)

Ps. The bot is now back in chat, and loyalty system is enabled!

So just as a small update; have been adding some things to the store again, mainly free spins on different casinos. It ain't much yet, but véry honest work. Another update! New POINT STORE is now live! You can visit the store by writing !store in Twitch chat.
I am aware the available items are limited, but currently this is the budget I have to work with - this may increase in the future with more and better items. Red Tiger and NetEnt are new to this, and want to test the waters first.

There is also a 50% discount code in the store that can be used on the items over HERE

Hey everyone!
Just a few notes here. 
Due to problems with the RT/Netent items in the point store all orders are currently on hold, and the stock is set to 0.
The reason is these items are being sent from the UK. As the UK is no longer part of the EU, there is now a pretty 'ridiculous' import tax that the receiver has to pay when they are outside the UK. And let's face it - nobody wants to put down 20€ or 30€ for a pair of slippers that is supposed to be free. We are looking into solutions (like getting all items sent from Malta instead of the UK), and of course will have the launch of an improved store in March. 
Would appreciate your understanding on the matter. 

And also - let me just sneak that in there real quick because I can - don't forget about the ongoing giveaways and competitions on https://www.aboutslots.com/ :D

Hey guys! So I wanted to speak for a moment about Betvili.

As you know they've been having issues with their investors. This resulted in many affiliates not getting their commission, and many players having to wait endlessly for their withdrawals. Some sites even went as far by saying Betvili is shutting down.

So - the good news. Betvili will continue operating, and will most certainly not be shutting down. A large amount of players is currently getting their pending withdrawals, and us as a company will also be getting our fair share. After this we intend to happily cooperate with Betvili again when everything is back to normal. 

For the ones still waiting for their withdrawals, fear not, they will be sorted as soon as possible.
