I hope this is the right topic to post this in and that maybe at least some pepople read this.

I just wanted to shine some light on the new legeslations for German players that are in effect on many sites since 01.07.21.

And I'm not talking about 1€ maxbet or slow spins, those are just minor issues IMO.

I'm rather talking about the 5.3% tax on online slots and the changes on some sites ragarding RTP.

Basicially I highly advice anyone playing from Germany to check the RTP / taxes on games before playing any slots because things have

gotten significantly worse for German players.

Two examples from my experience so far:

1. On Platin Casino they now charge 5.3% extra on EVERY SPIN lowering the RTP of the slot by pretty much 5%! On top of that I have noticed

that for example Amatic has lowered the RTP on Book of Aztec (formally one of my favourite games because of the the great RTP of 97.63%) to

now 95.1% which lowers the total RTP down to around 90%!

2. On Simple Casino the new RTP for Legacy of Dead for example is 87.56%!!! (For me personally unplayable)

So once again I highly suggest everyone to check the RTP before playing any slots and maybe (my opinion),

if possible like on Simple Casino you still can, play Tabel Games / Live Games which might be uneffected by lowered RTP.

Of course it is up to everyone themselves under what conditions they play in an Online Casino and I don't want this to come off as

a rant. I just wanted to point these facts out and hopefully hear some responses or other players opinions on this matter.

Franky. :)

Thank you for sharing information about the new rules for German players. I live in Canada and we have no taxes on casino winnings or other gambling. Lottery and gambling windfalls are not taxed in Canada because of the guiding principal that the gambling is done with after-tax dollars. Therefor, any winnings are exempt from tax. That is why we have sites where the RTP is 97-99%. Compared to German conditions, you value much more what you have in your country.

Thanks for spreading knowledge and I'm so sorry for German players. The RTP you stated is indeed unplayable.
